Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 2, 2026

DoubtCalc (doubtcalc.com) is a free online calculator website. Your privacy matters to us, and we want to be upfront about what data we collect, which right now is very little.

Information We Collect

DoubtCalc does not require you to create an account, sign up, or provide any personal information. All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into a calculator is ever sent to our servers.

We use third-party services including Google Analytics, and we plan to add Google AdSense for display advertising. These services may collect certain data as described below.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use DoubtCalc. Google Analytics collects information such as how often you visit the site, which pages you view, and what other sites you visited before arriving here. It uses cookies to identify unique visitors without personally identifying you.

The data collected by Google Analytics is aggregated and anonymous. We use it to improve the site and understand which calculators are most useful. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Partner Sites page.

Google AdSense (Planned)

We plan to display ads through Google AdSense to support the ongoing development of DoubtCalc. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. This is commonly known as personalized advertising.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info to opt out of third-party cookies used for advertising.

Cookies

DoubtCalc itself does not currently set any cookies. However, when we add Google Analytics and Google AdSense, those third-party services will use cookies to function properly.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help services remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or the fact that you've already been counted as a visitor. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Third-Party Services

DoubtCalc may use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties beyond what is described above.

Children's Privacy

DoubtCalc is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, particularly as we add new features or third-party services. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
